Hi people, some users have been getting pretty worked up over the GC integration process. I’ve helped a few people with GC problems and thought I’d share my experiences with everyone else. Here’s a few pointers:
- Make sure you have tax set for at least one region (Store > Settings > General > 51 regions link for US users)
- Make sure you have at least one shipping country selected (Store > Settings > Payment Options > Google Checkout ‘set shipping countries’ link)
- Double check the currency on Payment Options (Store > Settings > Payment Options) page is the same as the currency you selected when creating your Google Checkout account.
These three steps are crucial in successfully integrating Google Checkout, 90% of the sites that are brought to my attention have these settings wrongly configured. I hope this helps! Good luck.
